The Shure BETA 98 Microphone is designed to clamp onto the bell of wind instruments or the rim of percussion instruments for recording and performance purposes. The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern which focuses directly on the sound it is aimed towards whilst greatly reducing feedback interference. A flexible gooseneck design provides secure, precise positioning whilst the shock mount isolates instrument key noise and other mechanical noises. The BETA98 includes a windscreen, to reduce wind and pop noises, and a zippered carrying bag for easy storage and transport.
